Blood Is Thicker is about a boy named Hakeem Randall who just moved in with his uncle, aunt and his cousin Savon. Hakeem and his cousin Savon once friends now bitter enemies. Then one day Hakeem hears about stores being robbed around his neighborhood. Hakeem seemed suspicious when he had heard that because he would see his cousin sneak out in the middle of the night. Will Hakeem find out if cousin Savon is the robber, or will Hakeem find out that his cousin and him share a similar passion.
   This is another book that will motivate readers who don't like to read. This book will make people want to read.
